ELA GROUP 2017 LEADERSHIP CHANGES

In furthering ELA Group’s succession plan, during its Annual Board of Directors and Shareholders Meeting, the transition to its new leadership team was completed, when the following Officers were elected: Charles R. Haley, Jr., PE, President and Shawn H. Loose, Treasurer. Cheryl L. Love, RLA, was re-elected to continue in her role as Secretary.

In assuming the role of President, Mr. Haley replaces Grant W. Hummer, PE, who has served as ELA’s President since 1997. Mr. Hummer will continue with the firm, serving as President Emeritus.

As officers of a mid-sized firm, Haley, Hummer, Loose, and Love will also continue to fulfill their roles in the day-to-day operations and management of their respective disciplines: Civil Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Traffic/Transportation Engineering, and Landscape Architecture.

In his twenty years at the helm of ELA, Mr. Hummer steered the firm toward achieving its mission and vision as a multi-disciplined consulting firm. More importantly, Mr. Hummer was and will continue to be the embodiment of the firm‘s culture: upholding high ethical standards; assuring client satisfaction; building trusting, personal relationships with clients; highly-valuing the firm’s employees; and, developing a strong sense of community. In his new role, Mr. Hummer will continue to be actively engaged in community service endeavors.

ELA Group is excited for these leadership changes; they assure continuity in the levels of service and expertise that the wider-community expects of us, while positioning ELA for continued growth.
