ELA Group, Inc. employees met for a Sunday walk, all for a good cause. Leading the group was Grant Hummer, President Emeritus of ELA Group, Inc. and a longtime supporter of the MS Society.
The walk is a major fundraiser for the MS Society nationwide. Participants walk to raise donations. This year the local walk had a 1 mile and a 5k option.
Actively involved in the MS Society for over 25 years, Hummer has been on the local MS Society board and is currently a member of the National MS Society Board.
Hummer and ELA Group also work with the MS Society during the Christmas season. The employees “adopt” a family that the MS Society is working with and donate Christmas gifts, grocery gift cards and other necessities. “We all like to give back, and we make it fun, wrapping the gifts together in the lunchroom,” explains Hummer.
