Project Description
The project involved the widening of existing Book Road (1 mile) for its entire length between Village Road and Pioneer Road adjacent to the Lampeter-Strasburg School District Campus in the Village of Lampeter within West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County.
Services Rendered
ELA prepared construction drawings and provided construction administration services for the work involved in the widening of the roadway in order to provide a safer means of access for the traffic generated by the expanding School District Campus. The construction drawings included design of the widening of the roadway and its associated storm sewer system, redesign of intersections to provide safer turning radii for the School District's buses, and as well as coordination of relocations for the existing underground and overhead utilities in the area.
