Project Description
Located on a 12-acre site, Clay Elementary School was renovated and expanded for additional classroom spaces, a library, multi-purpose room and new playground facilities. The building expansion required the design and construction of new bus loading areas, parking, service areas and interior courtyards. An important aspect of the School District's program requirements was to provide safe playground space for the kindergarten classrooms, with additional playground space and athletic fields at the rear of the site.
Services Rendered
ELA designed the site improvements and represented the project through the zoning and the land development approval process, including preparation of storm water management studies, and erosion and sedimentation control plans/NPDES permitting.
