Project Description
By combining two lots into one, a three-story, limited-service extended-stay hotel, lodge, pool house
and outdoor patio area was able to be developed within the Granite Run Corporate Center. ELA
Group obtained the necessary zoning approvals for an increase in allowable building height and
length, prepared associated land development plans, and obtained waivers as part of the land
development process.
Additionally, stormwater management was an issue due to the small site size (4.2 acres). In order to
obtain the necessary volume in the proposed stormwater basin, a two-tiered boulder retaining wall
was designed and installed.
