Project Description
The project scope was the conversion of an existing natural turf field to an astro-turf surface. Work included coordination with intercollegiate athletics, physical plant and local utilities to complete design and construction of the field base and drainage system, bleachers, scoreboard, team player and press area and field water conditioning system.
Services Rendered
ELA Group, Inc. provided Site Design and Engineering services for a successful turf installation project. The design included a pervious paving section over an extensive underdrain system. The paving allows controlled infiltration of water that conditions the field for preparation of play.
