Project Description
The project entailed the design and construction of a new convenience store facility and associated parking facility. The project is located on a one and one-half acre site at an active intersection adjacent to a highway interchange. The key elements to the success of the project was ELA Group, Inc.'s extensive negotiations with PENNDOT to acquire a portion of their right-of-way and the design of two unique subsurface storm water detention systems.
Services Rendered
ELA Group, Inc. provided the following services in the design of the project: assistance in negotiations to obtain PENNDOT right-of-way, preparation of a Traffic Impact Study, Subdivision and Land Development Planning, Highway Occupancy Permitting, Storm Water and Utility Infrastructure Design, Retaining Wall Design, and coordination of Governmental Agency Approvals.
