Project Description
Unionville Borough obtained
a Master Planning Grant from DCNR for upgrades to an existing
Municipal Park. The planning process included public and committee
meetings to develop a Park Plan Program and identify the amenities
to be included in the park. Upon completion of the Master
Plan the Borough applied for and was granted an additional
grant for Implementation of Phase 1. A new play structure
for youth was installed, along with a walking fitness trail
and parking facility improvements.
Services Rendered
ELA Group, Inc. provided Master Planning services and public meeting facilitation, design and engineering services for storm water management planning, and construction detailing for Park improvements. ELA also coordinated the necessary approvals for Erosion and Sedimentation Control and facilitated property survey. Community initiatives were vital in the construction of Phase 1.
