Project Description
The project involved the widening and overlay of existing Village Road to accommodate left turn lanes on both the eastbound and westbound approaches of the intersection with Lampeter Road, the replacement of a traffic signal at the intersection, and the installation of curb and sidewalk through the Village of Lampeter.
Services Rendered
ELA prepared Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Highway Occupancy Permit plans and Traffic Signal Permit plans, and construction drawings. ELA also provided construction administration services for the work involved in the widening and overlay, and the intersection signalization. The construction drawings included design of the widening and overlay of the roadway and its associated storm sewer system, adjacent driveway modifications, and bank removal to improve the sight distance at the intersection.
