Project Description
Located on a 120-acre campus that includes the Middle School, Warwick High School was renovated and expanded to include a new 1400 seat auditorium, classrooms and new band, choral and athletic training rooms. The building expansion required the design and construction of new bus loading areas, parking and service areas. An important aspect of the School District's program requirements was to maintain the presence of a small practice field in close proximity to the building, while maintaining a park-like setting along the public road frontage. The site design preserved mature trees along the roadway, maintained greenspace and provided a buffer for the building expansions and auditorium flyspace.Other site amenities that enhanced the building expansions included a main entrance/student plaza, an auditorium entrance court, and interior courtyards.
