ELA Group, Inc.’s Engineers worked closely with the administration of Manheim Township School District (Lancaster County, PA) on a Feasibility Study and Design of Landis Run Intermediate School. The school, situated on the District’s Neffsville Campus, houses all Fifth and Sixth grade students and serves educational programs, instructional, technology, and community needs.

The project included relocating the Junior Varsity Baseball Field, allowing the school’s main entrance to be accessed by both buses and parent drop-offs. The traffic flow was designed to alleviate confusion between drop-off areas and maintain a smooth traffic flow at busy times.

Landis Run Intermediate School is LEED Silver Registered and is awaiting final Certification.

The project was completed in August 2012 and cost $27.6 million.
