ATHLETIC FACILITY DESIGN AND CONSULTING
ELA Sport was formed in 2007 as a Division of ELA Group, Inc. to provide targeted athletic field and facility design, planning and consulting to clients in both the private and public sectors. ELA Sport staff is comprised of professionals that are knowledgeable in facility design from both a designer and user perspective. We are active members in both the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) and the Synthetic Turf Council (STC) keeping up to date on current standards in the industry.
ELA Sport is supported through ELA Group, Inc. with land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, surveying and other related services, if projects with more complex planning and engineering needs include municipal project approvals and state agency permitting.
ATHLETIC FACILITY MASTER PLANNING
ELA Sport assists our clients by analyzing the conditions of existing facilities or undeveloped property to develop facility programming, schematic design concepts, cost estimates, facility master planning and schedules to help you make an informed decision on your facility.
SYNTHETIC TURF FIELD DESIGN
The ELA Sport staff has provided consulting services for more than three million square feet of synthetic turf fields including football, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball and softball. These projects include conversion from natural grass to synthetic turf to a complete stadium facility and multi-use sport complexes.
NATURAL TURF FIELD DESIGN
Our professionals recognize that grass fields are more complex than a “simple lawn” and require careful design and maintenance. Working with turf grass consultants we have developed a sound design process that will provide you with a quality and sustainable natural grass facility.
RUNNING TRACKS AND FIELD EVENTS
Our experience includes inspection, evaluation, design and planning for resurfacing, reconstruction and complete new facilities. ELA Sport can also provide track certification through our surveying subsidiary, Land Grant Surveyors, LLC., including IAAF certification.
TENNIS COURTS DESIGN
Our tennis court projects include one court residential to multiple batteries for larger clients. We work closely with ASBA professionals to develop specifications and designs current with new technologies and techniques that will result in a user-friendly and durable facility.
MULTI-SPORT FACILITIES
Such facilities include basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts as well as outdoor in-line skating rinks and a variety of recreation games.
